An unnamed basaltic volcano was listed in this general area by IAVCEI (1973). Although mislocated ~100 km E (1° of longitude), this entry may have been referencing the small mountain ridge of Ulagh Muztagh, ~30 km long and largely snow-covered. It was mapped as 11-4.0 Ma rhyolites in Wang et al. (2016, see citations).
