Aguas Delgadas volcano is listed as active during the past 2000 years (IAVCEI 1973), but no Holocene volcanoes are listed in this area by de Silva and Francis (1990). The volcanoes Cerro Bayo and Corrida de Cori, very near to the listed location of Aguas Delgadas, are classified as Pleistocene.
