A basalt dredge sample Ar-Ar dated by Koppers et al. (2004) was 1.110 +/- 0.055 Ma. This seamount is about 90 km NW of Lonsdale Seamount and 400 km N of the Hollister Ridge 1991 acoustic signal location. It is near the extreme eastern end of the Louisville Seamount Chain where it intersects the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge, near where some models locate the Louisville hotspot (Vlastelic and Dosso, 2005).
