Northeast Bank is a seamount about 45 km NW of Ofu-Olosega. Koppers et al. (2011) reported Ar-Ar dates of less than 1 Ma. The informal cruise designation of "Muli" has been present in the scientific literature since 1999, but should not be used as a common name.
