The Niua Volcanic Complex is a roughly rectangular area at the N end of the Tofua Arc, up to 25 km long and 13 km wide, that rises to depths of ~2,000 m above the seafloor; it is characterized by an irregular morphology, with smaller volcanic features that occur on the periphery of the larger edifices, and lava flows (Anderson et al., 2021).
