Volcanic features on the Jos Plateau include domes, single vents, and clusters of 3-4 cones aligned mainly NW-SE (Lar et al., 2013). Preliminary K-Ar dating of volcanic features reported by Lar et al. (2013) showed an age range of 2.5-1.34 Ma.
